‘DC Derby’ was the first web series I produced back in 2007. I was a fan of the DC Rollergirls, the women’s roller derby league in Washington, DC, and wanted to help them with promotion. This was my first documentary-style video work that merged sports highlights with interview footage. I also reached out to local DC bands and featured music from a different band in each episode. Though rough in many ways, this is some of my proudest work.
