Faith Alone is a preconceive ideaand they are stock only i this one dimentional teaching w/c is not the only teaching of the apostle it is not even written .what is written is James 2:24-25 Ye see then how that BY WORKS A MAN IS JUSTIFIED and NOT BY FAITH ONLY… Rahab d harlot JUSTIFIED BY WORKS what is written is not by faith only not faith alone, Even Paul doesnt believe in Faith alone that why u cant read is ,Paul also teach us in 1Cor 13: 2 “and though I have the Gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and THOUGH I HAVE ALL FAITH,
so i can move mountains, AND HAVE NOT CHARITY, I’am NOTHING” charity is good works he has ALL Faith but if i have NO charity i’m nothing as u said nothing is nothing.
Rev 22:12 Behold My, I come quickly, and my Reward(Grace/Salvation) is with me, to give every man according to his work.same as written in Mat. 16:27 he shall reward Man accordng to his works… what reward is it? its Grace can they denied it verse by verse non of them have done it, they rather walk away in silence than facing the truth n continue to mislead others, coz they cant deny Jesus will come carrying reward and punishment some will get reward and some will get punishment and what is the basis of his reward accroding to the verse, can u answer it? is it according to faith or works?…

@N That’s certainly possible. And I did struggle with the issue of doing things to be seen, rather than in secret (Matthew 6:1). But I was reminded by a sermon by Lon Solomon, where he said he disliked Jerry Jones, the owner of the Dallas Cowboys, because he publicly humiliated a coach by firing him on TV before letting the coach know. Lon said that the only way Jerry Jones could redeem himself in his eyes was to apologize for what he did — and do it in the same public way as the initial offense was given. Many of the things I’ve done wrong were done in public. People (family, coworkers) were around to witness my wrongdoing, so my amends should also be made in a public setting. If I lied on an Internet message board about something, I should apologize for it in the same or similar venue. A public sin needs a public apology.

I understand why you did what you did, and that your reason for blogging is to inspire. But couldn’t your blogging about it also be inferred as “bragging” about your good deed? We should not do good things to be seen or tell people about them to be seen but do it for the glory of God. I’m not saying you had poor intentions, but I think some might think so.
